Lakeview shortlisted for three Surrey Care Awards
Three team members from Lakeview, our care home in Lightwater have been shortlisted for three prestigious Surrey Care Awards.
Yvonne Prince, Inderpreet Hanzra and Natalia Holubowicz have been shortlisted in the ‘Unsung Hero of the Year’, ‘Manager of the Year’ and ‘Ancillary Worker of the Year’ categories.
Housekeeper, Natalia Holubowicz said: “I love my job and where I am, the people that I work with and the people that I care for, I am very honoured to have been shortlisted and I want to thank every person that has supported and believed in me.”
Clinical Care Manager, Inderpreet Hanzra said: “I have always enjoyed looking after our residents and developing relationships with them and their families. Being recognised for a role that I enjoy and find rewarding is just amazing.”
The Surrey Care Awards, established in 2008, seeks to acknowledge and celebrate the very best people in the care sector, in and around the Surrey area.
Yvonne Prince, a Volunteer at the home said: “Lakeview has given me the opportunity to help and befriend the residents and our team. Volunteering at the home has been a massive reward for me and a real joy.”
Yvonne’s esteemed nomination follows the Hallmark Care Homes 2016 awards ceremony, where she was named ‘Volunteer of the Year’.
The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at Epson Downs Racecourse this Friday.
