Maycroft Manor to hold four Dementia Friends’ sessions

Maycroft Manor, our care home in Brighton and Hove, is holding four Dementia Friend’s sessions at the home, to encourage visitors to learn more about the condition and to help raise awareness.

The events will be taking place on Thursday 2nd March at 10:00am, Wednesday 15th March at 1:00pm, Wednesday 5th April at 10:00am and Wednesday 19th April at 1:00pm.

The informal and interactive sessions will be run by the homes Dementia Champion and Customer Relationship Manager, Lisa.

The short sessions will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the sessions will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
