Kew House to hold four Dementia Friends’ sessions

Kew House, our care home in Wimbledon, is holding four Dementia Friends’ sessions at the home to encourage visitors to learn more about the condition and to help raise awareness.

The events will be taking place on Wednesday 15th March at 3:00pm, Wednesday 22nd March at 2:00 pm, Tuesday 4th April at 12:00pm and Wednesday 26th April at 12:00pm.

The informal and interactive sessions will be run by the homes Dementia Champion and Customer Relationship Manager, Jane.

The short sessions will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia, live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the sessions will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
