Shire Hall to hold three Dementia Friends’ sessions

Shire Hall, our care home in Cardiff, is holding three Dementia Friends’ sessions at the home to encourage visitors to learn more about the condition and to help raise awareness.

The events are taking place on Thursday 23rd February, Thursday 16th March at 4:00pm and Thursday 30th March at 3:00pm.

The informal and interactive sessions will be led by the homes Dementia Champion and Customer Relationship Manager, Jonathan Walters.

The short sessions will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can help someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the sessions will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
