Admiral Court Care Home to host Dementia Friends session in aid of Essex Dementia Day

Admiral Court, our award-winning care home in Leigh-On-Sea will be hosting a Dementia Friends session this Friday and selling delicious cupcakes for The Alzheimer’s Society in aid of Essex Dementia Day.

The informal and interactive session which will take place at 3pm in the Dove Lounge will be run by the homes Dementia Champion and Business Support Manager Nicola Sutcliffe.

The short session, which is taught in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society, explores what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the session will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
