Regency House host charity teddy bear picnic

Regency House, our care home in Ely, Cardiff, recently raised over £115 for the Ely Festival by hosting a teddy bear picnic at the home alongside local Councillor, Susan Goddard.

Activities on the day included a teddy bear best-dressed competition, a tombola and a picnic in the colourful gardens.

Children from the local community who visited the home were also able to have their faces painted and enjoy a singalong to songs such as ‘if you go down to the woods today.’

Police Community Support Officers also came along to the special event to join in with the fun activities.

Lifestyles Team Leader at Regency House Care Home, Tracy Hiscock said: “We all thoroughly enjoyed our day in the sun with members of the local community and the residents at Regency House.

“It was great to be able to support the Ely Festival whilst having a picnic with our favourite teddy bears!”
