Ty Enfys, our care home in Pentwyn, recently raised £410 for Alzheimer’s Research UK by organising a seven-a-side football tournament at Pontprennau Community Church.
Greenhill Manor, our care home in Merthyr Tydfil and Shire Hall, our care home in Cardiff also came along to the event, bringing their A game.
Taking the title was Shire Hall. In second and third place was Greenhill Manor, leaving the home team, Ty Enfys, in last place.
At the exciting event, there was also a raffle which included prizes such as; a luxury spa hamper, a food hamper, an afternoon tea and Sunday lunch at Ty Enfys, an exercise DVD and a tour for four of the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. All of the prizes were generously donated by members of the local community.
Lifestyles Team Leader at Ty Enfys Care Home, Lily Chapman said: “I am so grateful to everybody who helped make our event such a success.
