Maycroft Manor host casino royale event for residents

Maycroft Manor, our care home in Brighton, Sussex, recently hosted a casino royale themed party for residents and their family and friends.

Our residential, dementia and nursing care home on Carden Avenue hosted the celebration on Thursday night, which saw visitors arrive via a red carpet and greeted with bubbly. This was shortly followed by the opportunity to play casino favourites, blackjack and roulette, provided by ES Promotions.

During the evening, visitors were treated to a delicious selection of homemade food, as well as a performance from Elvis tribute, Andy T King and Magician, Magic Al, who entertained the visitors with an array of exciting tricks throughout the night.

Customer Relationship Manager, Anne-Marie Maynard said: “The evening was a huge success and everybody had so much fun!

“It was great to see the residents and their family and friends enjoying the evening, creating new and exciting memories.”

The daughter of a resident at Maycroft Manor, Ann Pearce said: “It was lovely to hear my mum still singing all the way back to her suite in the corridor. I bet she slept well last night!”
