Lakeview to host Dementia Advice Seminar – 25th May
Lakeview, our industry-leading care home in Lightwater, Surrey is hosting a Dementia Advice Seminar during Dementia Action Week on Saturday 25th May from 12:30pm-4:30pm.
Please see below the full schedule for the day:
- 12:30pm: A welcome to Lakeview Care Home. Your chance to meet our dedicated team and sample the best of the dining experience.
- 1:00pm: Maureen Hume, Chairperson of The Alzheimers Café at St Mary’s Church in Camberley, will hold a discussion on the work of the Café and the themes and outcomes of the monthly meetings.
- 2:15pm: Sylvia Bryden–Stock, former Nurse and Care Home Manager and now author of the book; ‘The Rocky Road of Naughty Neurons’ will discuss her personal experiences of the journey into young onset Alzheimers disease.
- 3:30pm: Take part in our informative Dementia Friends session and become a Dementia Friend.
