Banstead Manor to host virtual dementia friends session

Banstead Manor, our industry-leading care home in Banstead is hosting a virtual Dementia Friends’ session to encourage people in the community to learn more about the condition and to help raise awareness.

The virtual event will be taking place on Tuesday 22nd September at 2:00pm.

The informal and interactive session will be run by our homes Dementia Champion and Customer Relationship Manager, Emma Weller.

The short session which lasts approximately 45 minutes will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can support someone who lives with dementia to live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Attendees can join via a web browser or by downloading the Microsoft Teams app. This will be an interactive session so apart from your laptop, smart phone or tablet, all you will need is a pen and some paper.
