Maycroft Manor shortlisted for a local award

Maycroft Manor, our care home in Brighton, has been shortlisted for a local award.

Our home on Carden Avenue has been shortlisted in the Care Employer category at the Sussex Community Star & Care Awards 2021.

The awards, organised by The Argus, aim to show recognition to all the hero’s that have become pillars of the community over the last 12 months.

General Manager at the home, Ian Cole said: “The last year has been incredibly difficult for everyone in the care sector and our amazing team have gone above and beyond.

“Whilst it is difficult to fully display the thanks and admiration for the work they do, we provide monthly thank you gifts which could be a bottle of wine, Easter egg or Fitbit which is a small token of our appreciation.

“Maycroft Manor’s foundations are our team and it’s amazing how these foundations keep on getting stronger.”

The awards ceremony will be held virtually on 30th June via The Argus’ social media platforms.
