Hallmark in Bloom is our much-loved annual competition celebrating the greenest, most vibrant gardens across our 22 homes in England and Wales. This year, throughout August, our judges toured each home to admire the incredible creativity and dedication of our team members and residents. Together, they have transformed outdoor spaces into beautiful, welcoming environments, perfect for both purpose and pleasure.
Since its launch in 2003, Hallmark in Bloom has been a significant event in the Hallmark Luxury Care Homes calendar. Our residents use our gardens year-round and enjoy participating in weekly gardening clubs, but the competition allows for a much bigger impact. It’s an opportunity for our residents to live actively and independently, showcasing their efforts throughout the year.
Each home celebrated their judging day in its own unique way, from a Peter Pan themed event to a golf party. The homes pulled out all the stops to ensure they were in ‘full bloom’ come judging day. From visiting gardening centres to growing their own fruits and vegetables, each home made the most of their outdoor space.
