We are delighted to announce that Sarabdeep Singh from Lakeview Care Home has won Care Sector’s Got Talent.
The competition, which took place on Tuesday, is a fantastic showcase of the amazing talents of the social care sector. This year, there were many great entries, including two other finalists from Hallmark Care Homes, Ayisha Rastall and Ashik Sulaiman, who both wowed the judges with their amazing voices.
Sarabdeep, who performed a dance, started dancing when he was nine years old and has since performed at many concerts, including at the o2, Royal Albert Hall and more recently, at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Speaking of his win, Sarab said: “I feel on cloud nine! I was very nervous before the competition but thoroughly enjoyed performing on the stage. I am grateful to the Judges, audience and my team and residents at Lakeview for their support.”
General Manager at Lakeview Care Home, Inderpreet Hanzra said: “We are all so proud of Sarab and for the care he gives to the residents, and for sharing his history and culture with us through dance.”
