Kind-hearted care workers at Midford Manor, our brand-new care home coming soon to Bath have volunteered their time to transform the gardens at nearby Peggy Dodd day care centre.

Nine green fingered team members at our residential, dementia and nursing home, spent several days, pruning the gardens, and painting garden furniture to benefit the centre, which supports those living with memory loss and their carers.

As part of their visit, they also donated plants to brighten up the outdoor spaces and inserted a beautiful water feature.

Ricky Bush, Chief Operating Officer at Peggy Dodd said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Midford Manor who have given their time here at Peggy Dodd to transform our garden and surrounding spaces. The feedback from staff, clients and visitors has been so positive on how bright and fresh everything looks and the new water feature finishes the garden off. The Midford staff have been a credit to their company, and we would welcome them back here at any time. As a charity, this support plays a huge role in our development and allows us to continue to focus our work on improving the lives of those living with dementia.”

Michelle Wintle from Midford Manor Care Home said: “Peggy Dodd does an amazing job supporting the local community so we were delighted to be able to give back to them and improve their outdoor spaces for visitors. We look forward to continue working together in the future.”
