At Hallmark Luxury Care Homes we are introducing a new ‘in-home’ hygienist service where every resident will receive a biannual check-up from a CQC registered hygienist in the comfort of our home.

We’ve partnered with Bucks Dental Hygienist Ltd, an independent CQC-registered provider specialising in friendly, compassionate, and personalised dental hygienist services within a care home environment. They share our commitment to delivering high-quality care.

In response to the CQC’s Smiling Matters reports, we’ve taken decisive action to improve oral care at Hallmark. With strong leadership support, we’ve relaunched our Oral Care Champions programme and partnered with Bucks Dental Hygienist to deliver regular resident visits and staff training. We’re committed to making outstanding oral health a standard—not a struggle—in every one of our homes.

No, a hygienist is not a substitute for a dentist. We recommend that residents continue to see their own dentist regularly for full dental care.

That’s absolutely fine. If needed, the hygienist can visit you at your bedside or in the area where you spend most of your time.

No. This service is included in your weekly fee and provided at no additional cost through an external partner.

The service is delivered by Bucks Dental Hygienist Ltd, a CQC-registered provider. While Hallmark offers access to this service as part of the All-Inclusive package, it is independently managed by Bucks Dental Hygienist Ltd.

Yes, additional appointments can be booked every three months for an additional fee. Speak to your team to find out what the up to date fee is and to get your additional appointments setup.

This service is available in all Hallmark Care Homes located in England.

The hygienist will conduct a full oral assessment and provide personalised dental hygiene treatments tailored to your needs.
