As General Manager of Angmering Grange Care Home, Babu is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming home where residents feel valued, supported and truly at home.

With over 16 years of experience in the care sector, they began their career as a Care Assistant before progressing into leadership roles. Their passion for care has always been driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives, and they remain inspired by the positive impact compassionate, relationship-centred care can have on residents and families.

Babu joined Hallmark because of its commitment to treating every resident as an individual and its strong values of compassion, respect and excellence. In their role, they work closely with residents, families and colleagues to maintain high standards of care, support staff development and create a positive culture throughout the home.

For Babu, the most rewarding part of the role is seeing residents thrive while helping team members grow in confidence and achieve their potential. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family, travelling and keeping up to date with developments in health and social care.

As Customer Relationship Manager, Melanie is passionate about supporting residents and families through one of life’s most important decisions. She understands that moving into a care home can be an emotional journey and takes pride in helping families feel informed, reassured and supported every step of the way.

Before joining the care sector, Melanie spent more than 27 years in the property industry, where she developed a strong passion for building relationships and helping people. Looking for a more people-focused role, she was drawn to care and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Melanie joined Hallmark because of its genuine commitment to caring for others and the supportive culture shared by colleagues across the organisation. In her role, she welcomes prospective residents and their loved ones, provides tours of the home and helps families understand the support available to them. She also works closely with the Lifestyles Team to organise events and experiences for residents.

The most rewarding part of her role is helping families navigate what can often be a difficult decision, ensuring they feel listened to, supported and confident in their choices. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys travelling, attending live motorsport events and spending quality time with family, friends and her rescue cat, Mia.
