Introduction
I’m the General Manager at Tŷ Enfys dementia care home in Cardiff and have enjoyed working here for almost 12 years.
I completed my nursing degree in 1984 and then worked in the Middle East until 1999, gaining experience in nursing, psychiatric medicine and oncology. I am proud to be part of a passionate team that put the happiness of residents at the heart of everything we do. We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the top 20 care homes in the whole of Wales.

Introduction
As Customer Relationship Manager, I am your first point of contact here at Tŷ Enfys. The process to finding the right care home can often be a daunting one and so, together we will talk through your current circumstances for me to best understand how we can support you. I always have my door open ready for you to pop-by for an open and honest chat where I will provide as much help and advice as I can – all with a steaming hot cuppa should you need it.
I’ve worked in care for the last 4 years, after a 20-year career in hospitality, and nothing beats what I do now. It is truly the best job in the world. Being able to help and support families along a journey that can be so difficult, and such a minefield, is what motivates me to get out of bed each morning with a smile on my face. We make a difference at Tŷ Enfys and help people to live the most fulfilled lives that they can. This is what makes our home and my job so unique and wonderful. I am immensely proud to be a part of the Tŷ Enfys team.
