Kew House Care Home to hold a community advice day – Wednesday 15th June

About us

Kew House is our beautiful, purpose-built Care Home in Wimbledon, offering award winning design initiatives in addition to our high standards of residential, nursing and dementia care.

Our residents are supported to live an active and fulfilled life. Our relationship-centred care enables residents to keep on doing the things they’ve always loved – the things they perhaps thought they could no longer enjoy. So as part of our community, they’ll be able to cook, plant flower pots for the terrace and carry on with the kind of everyday routines which make their lives theirs.

Life at Kew House

As soon as you walk into Kew House, you are met with our bright and inviting café, where residents enjoy spending time socialising over fresh coffee and homemade cakes. We understand the importance of routine and so encourage residents to carry on with those everyday routines they have always cherished, such as having a weekly hair and nail appointment at our luxurious ‘His and Hers’ hair salon, meeting with friends and relatives in our vibrant café, and enjoying their favourite film in the dedicated state-of-the-art cinema. They can also enjoy family gatherings in the private celebrations room or get some fresh air on the terrace.

In addition to the industry leading facilities, we also have a packed activities calendar to suit all tastes and abilities, so as well as continuing with old hobbies, residents are enabled experience new activities. These can include flower arranging, arts and crafts and even a visit from a travel zoo, as well as much more.

Meanwhile, our award-winning specialist dementia environments are designed specifically to enhance the quality of life of our residents, offering stability, reassurance and familiarity.

Why choose us?

Our dedicated team works closely with residents to empower them to take part in engaging activities that are tailored to their needs and based on lifestyle preferences. These take place both within the home and in Wimbledon and the surrounding areas.

Our philosophy of relationship-centred care means we train our team with additional communication and observational skills to support the people we care for. As a result, Kew House is one of the leading care homes in Wimbledon for those who are living with dementia.
